“SF+Bio Gel Barrier
” is an aqueous gel composition that includes an aqueous absorbent material consisting of blends of copolymers, block copolymers, water and target additives. Refers to A composition for creating heat resistant protection and the process of retarding or extinguishing a fire using an aqueous gel solution.

Purpose:

 to protect a surface from heat damage or prevent ignition.

1) It has high fire and heat resistance.

2) Non-toxic (safe for humans and animals);

4) No secondary damage to materials from exposure to the Gel.

5) Ability to hold for a long time on inclined and horizontal surfaces.

Principle of Action:

Forms a continuous layer of aqueous Gel composition on the surface to be protected. Due to its structure and physicochemical data, it is retained on inclined, horizontal surfaces for a long time.

Cohesion of Gel with the surface of the object, reduces the temperature of the object below the burning temperature of the object, thereby blocking the spread and damping of fire.

Acts as an improved method for extinguishing Class A and B fires.

Ecology: Once in the soil, the gel-like substance helps the soil recover from fire by maintaining a higher level of soil moisture content for extended periods of time.

SF+Bio Gel Barrier Application Example:

Protection of Oil Storage and Fuel and Lubricant Storage Facilities.

In the event of a fuel tank fire, SF+Bio Gel Barrier is applied to adjacent fuel tanks.

The main task of the Gel is to contain the heating of neighbouring tanks, to prevent heating and ignition until the main fire is finally extinguishing the main fire. Once the fire has been extinguished.

SF+Bio

Fire protection “SF+Bio” is a unique means of fire prevention for materials with porous surface.

Impregnation “SF+Bio” is a ready-to-use polymer suspension of a balanced composition of fire retardant, binder and functional additives.

It is used to prevent fire and fire spread in case of fire, as well as to protect the treated material from harmful agents (fungi,insects and their larvae).

  • «SF+Bio» composition is fire and explosion safe and Non-toxic;
  • According to the degree of impact on the human body belong to IV class of hazard (low-hazardous substances) according to GOST 12.1.007-76;
  • Does not give efflorescence or salt streaks on the surface of the treated material;
  • Does not change the structure of the treated material;

  • Harmless during processing and further use;
  • Treated materials are harmless to humans and animals;

The principle of action of fire-bio-protective impregnation “SF+Bio”:

As a result of treatment with fire-bio-protective impregnation, the material becomes weakly flammable, which allows it to resist the effects of flame and high temperatures during a fire. If the operating conditions are observed, the validity of the composition is not less than 5 years.

Methods of application (treatment) of “SF+Bio”:
  • Spraying (Air, airless supply).
  • Mechanical (Roller, brush).
  • Dipping.
  • Protected surfaces should be cleaned from dust, dirt, grease. The impregnation is applied at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C.
Consumption of fire protection impregnation “SF+Bio”:
  • Fabric – density from 100 to 150 gr. per square meter – From 30 to 50 ml. (depending on the density of the fabric)
  • Carpeting – from 30 to 70 ml. (depending on pile height)
  • Wood – from 50 to 200 ml. (depending on the density of the wood). Treated wood should be protected from water and atmospheric precipitation.

Apply strictly in accordance with the technological recommendations of the manufacturer. The Certificate of Conformity does not apply to coatings treated not in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Scope of application of fire-bio-protective impregnation “SF+Bio”:
  • Wherever protection of materials against fire is required!
  • Wood and materials based on it (paper, cardboard);
  • Textiles, decorative fabrics (furniture upholstery fabrics);
  • Fabrics (sleeping bags, tents, awnings, etc.);
  • Fabrics for special clothing (fire, welding, etc.).

SFP – fire extinguishing composition

Innovative fire extinguishing composition Air-dispersion mixture “SFP”.

The principle of action of “SFP”:

It consists mainly in the effect of fire extinguishing agent on the breaking of radical bonds of the physical-chemical chain reaction of combustion, in the suppression of the “active centers” of this reaction, cooling the fire focus below the ignition temperature and creating a non-combustible environment by creating a cloud of inert gases in the protected volume.

Extinguishing process:

SFP air-dispersion mixture forms a vapor-air cloud of inert gases when it reaches the fire. vapor-air cloud consisting of inert gases. As a result of instantaneous endothermic reaction, there is a rapid cooling of the fire with simultaneous absorption and inhibition of combustion products, as well as the deposition of cooled vapor-air mixture on the surface of the fire. As a result, the fire is  extinguished and further burning becomes impossible.

Fire extinguishing compound “SFP” is environmentally safe and non-toxic!

Due to its high extinguishing efficiency, it minimizes the damage to property in case of fire. “SFP” has maximum thermal stability compared to other extinguishing compounds. The temperature of thermal decomposition of its molecules is more than 600°C. High thermal stability, creation of a cloud consisting of vapor and inert gases in the protected volume, allows to use it for extinguishing fires of smouldering materials, because at the temperature of smouldering (usually about 450 ° C), thermal decomposition practically does not occur. Thermal decomposition is subjected to about 6% of the mass of the composition applied to extinguish the fire, so no toxic substances are formed.
